DESCRIPTION:The St. Augustine Spanish Wine Festival will be held Thursday, February 23, through Saturday, February 25, 2023. The festival offers Spanish food and wine for visitors and locals to enjoy, showcasing the many aspects of Spanish influence on the culinary scene in St. Augustine. Proceeds from the St. Augustine Spanish Wine Festival benefit local charities. Since the festival began, more than $380,000 has been donated to local charities.\nThe events this year will take place at several locations on the Flagler College campus and at the nearby Lightner Museum.\nTapas, Wine, and Spirits\nThe festival will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February, 23, 2023, with the opportunity to taste wine and spirits as well as tapas while enjoying the Lightner Museum’s Radzinski Family Gardens. Tickets are $125.00.\nCava Reception & Dinner\nWith performances by the Flagler College Chamber Choir and a local Spanish guitarist, this five-course dinner begins with a cocktail reception and includes a silent auction. Chef Norberto Jaramillo, Executive Chef and Owner of La Cocina Internation Restaurant will prepare the meal. Each course is paired with a Spanish wine. The event takes place in Flagler College’s historic main building, the former Ponce de Leon Hotel. The reception will be held in the Flagler Room and the dinner will be served in the Solarium. Tickets are $350.00\nGrand Tasting\nThe festival concludes with the Grand Tasting from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023. More than 100 Spanish wines are available to sample, accompanied by Spanish-inspired hors d’oeuvres. This event will be held at the Markland House, the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, and the Alumni House on the Flagler College campus. Tickets are $100.00.\nAdmission: Tickets for Thursday’s Wine, Spirits, and Tapas are $125. Tickets for the Cava Reception and Dinner are $350.00.
