St. Augustine boasts affordable and entertaining activities for the entire family with over 60 attractions for you to explore. Enjoy the many restaurants, art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, cafes and museums, then experience our city’s various walking tours, riding tours, Flagler’s Legacy tours, food and wine tours, dolphin watching tours, kayak tours, and even ghost tours.

Free Tours and Things to Do

Take a free tour of the distillery and watch them mix, mash, cook and distill small batch vodka, rum, gin and whiskey in a historically renovated ice manufacturing plant from 1917. You will learn about the history of ice and distilling in Florida, see our products being made, and then taste small batch spirits for yourself in the tasting room. There’s no charge and tours are every 30 minutes.

San Sebastian Winery offers complimentary winery tours and tastings every day. After a short audio-visual presentation in our upstairs theater, you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the 18,000 square foot wine production facility. Discover the art of winemaking as you learn the important details of the 5,000 gallon stainless steel tanks where the wine is fermented and stored prior to bottling. After visiting the rustic authentic Barrel Room, where they house the Port, you will be treated to the wine tasting experience. It’s fun and educational for the whole family! Children are welcome, however tasting wine is offered to adults of 21 years and over with a valid I.D. Complimentary Tours and Wine Tasting run about every 20-25 minutes, lasting approximately 45 minutes in length and offered seven days a week, (except for major holidays).No reservations are required except for groups of 20 and above. Last tours are offered at approximately 5:00 p.m.

Activities & Tickets

Founded with the goal of educating the general public about the preservation and protection of marine life, Marineland Dolphin Adventure offers educational and interactive aquatic experiences. Connect with dolphins and other marine animals while learning about their anatomy, habitats, behaviors, and more through in-person encounters. Then, go for a swim with these friendly and playful dolphins!

Dive into underwater exploration at the St. Augustine Aquarium. No, really! You can get a firsthand look at a natural Florida reef habitat in the snorkel adventure. Plus, the interactive exhibits throughout allow visitors to touch a starfish, learn about our oceans, and feed sharks. The St. Augustine Aquarium is also dedicated to educating visitors about conservation efforts to protect marine life.

Located in historic St. Augustine, the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park offers a 15-acre historical site of where St. Augustine came to be in the year 1565. Guests can enjoy seeing stars from the park’s planetarium, exploring the native Timucua village, watching an old cannon fire, visit the two-story Discovery Globe, take a walk through the waterfront outdoor park, and much more.

The very first permanent Ripley’s attraction, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! St. Augustine offers a fascinating experience for guests of all ages. The attraction is located within a historic castle and features three floors with more than 800 bizarre exhibits and artifacts. Guests can find shrunken heads, a pirate made of scrap car parts, the largest operational erector-set Ferris wheel, and more.

The original sightseeing train tours in St. Augustine, Ripley’s Red Sightseeing Trains offer narrated tours of the area’s most popular attractions, shopping districts, historic landmarks and more along a scenic 7-mile circuit. Tours include 80 to 90 minutes of narration about the city’s rich history, and each ticket is valid for three consecutive days for added convenience.

Located at the Ripley Ghost Parlor, adjacent to the castle entrance, the Ripley’s Ghost Train Adventure offers an 80-minute tour, complete with a fully interactive nighttime investigation of two properties with haunted histories. Tours include the use of EMF meters and laser grids as professional tours retell the spooky stories of the ghosts that haunt the area after dark.

Located just across from Flagler College and a few blocks from The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, the Villa Zorayda Museum lets guests get an up-close view of the architectural work of art created in 1883 by Franklin Smith. The museum offers state-of-the-art self-guided audio tours that are available throughout the day, as well as special behind-the-scenes tours on select Tuesdays.

Offered by Historic Tours of America, the St. Augustine Hop-on Hop-off Sightseeing Tour lets guests enjoy a guided tour of the St. Augustine area at their own pace, led by experienced Old Town Trolley conductors. The 80-minute tour features 23 stops and more than 100 points of interest, including the Fountain of Youth, Lightner Museum, Flagler College, the St. Augustine History Museum, and more.

Offered by St. Augustine Historic Walking Tours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5 – 7:30 p.m., the Historic Pub Crawl is an ideal way to taste some of the best alcoholic beverages in St. Augustine. Each two-and-a-half to three-hour tour offers premium, craft and local beers; handcrafted sangria; rich wines; and more. Guests are advised to eat before the tour.

Offered by Tour St. Augustine, the St. Augustine Creepy Crawl Pub Tour lets guests enjoy a nightly pub tour with spirits of many kinds. Each tour is led by an experienced ghost-hunting guide, who tells of the bizarre and well-known tales known to the St. Augustine area. Guests are also welcome to purchase their own EMF meters to help detect any paranormal activity along the way.

Located just off A1A, the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum offers a diverse collection of more than 800 quality artifacts from the era of piracy. Guests can enjoy audio-animatronics and interactive technology while exploring the places and experiences lived on Captain Kidd’s last voyage. The museum also features a Treasure Shoppe, which sells books, jewelry, pirate-themed décor, and more.

Explore the marshy backwaters of Six Mile Creek in a modern airboat! These flat-bottomed vessels are the most practical way to explore shallow waters.
