Where are you located?
Our hotel is located on St. Augustine Beach, approximately 3 miles south of the town’s iconic lighthouse, and one mile south of the popular St. Johns Pier.
What address should I use for the hotel?

What is the closest airport?
Jacksonville Airport is approximately 50 minutes north of St. Augustine. It is a smaller airport, easy to get transit through, with convenient rental car pick up. The closest large airport is Orlando, approximately a 2 hour drive.
Does the hotel have an airport shuttle?
No we do not provide any airport shuttle service. Service is available between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm with advance reservation through Airport Express of St. Augustine. They can be reached at 904-824-9400.
Does the hotel have a shuttle to the historic Old City?
The popular Old Town Trolley provides shuttle service roughly every 30 minutes between the hotel and its main stop #1 in the heart of the historic district.
Does the hotel have a pool ?
Yes, we have a beachfront pool and patio area that guests have access to during their stay.
Is the hotel on the beach?
Yes! Our hotel is located directly on St. Augustine Beach, accessed via our dune walkway that connects with our Pool Deck and the Guy Harvey Surf Shack tiki bar.
Does the hotel have beach chairs?
Yes, beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent through our Beach Activity center located on the pool deck.
Does the hotel have a Fitness Room ?
Yes, we have an air-conditioned indoor Fitness Room with a selection of exercise equipment and machines.
Does the Hotel offer free Wi-fi?

Is there hotel parking available?
Yes, we have complimentary self-parking in front of and alongside our hotel. At check-in, you’ll receive a parking pass for your vehicle. We do not offer valet parking service.
What if I am riding a motorcycle or have a trailer with me?
Motorcycles are welcome to park at the hotel. If you plan on bringing a trailer, please call prior to your arrival to speak with a team member to confirm we can accommodate you.
When is check in and check out at the hotel?
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 11:00 am. If you would like to arrive earlier, you are welcome to check-in but access to your room is subject to our housekeeping schedule. Late Check out is available for an added fee but is subject to availability and must be approved by staff. PLEASE NOTE: If you have an event on the day of your arrival–such as a wedding or rehearsal party—we strongly recommend booking the night before the event. We cannot guarantee early check in, and we don’t want you to be stressed as you race to get ready for your special event.
What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary during the year based on room demand, and will be clearly outlined on your reservation confirmation when booking.
NOTE: For large groups, the above cancellation policy is the one documented in your group event contract.
What is the hotel pet policy?
Dogs are welcome at the Guy Harvey Resort St Augustine Beach. We are known as one of the most dog-friendly lodging properties in St. Augustine Beach, with its very dog friendly public beach. We can accommodate up to two dogs per room. Our pet fee is $50 per night per room, with a max of $100 per stay.
Do you have handicap accessible rooms?
Our hotel has several rooms that are specifically ADA compliant. Please let our team members know about your accessibility needs when making a reservation to ensure we can comfortably accommodate you.
Is there an extra charge for additional guests?
No, we do not charge for additional guests.
Do you have adjoining rooms in your inn?
Yes, we have a selection of adjoining rooms, however, balconies do not connect between rooms.
May we smoke on property?
All of our guest rooms are non-smoking. We permit smoking on the balconies and in designated outdoor areas.
Does the hotel have on site dining?
Yes, we do! Our specialty dining venue is Santiagos, a Florida Kitchen and Craft Bar, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Santiago’s menu features a melding of culinary influences including the Spanish heritage of St. Augustine, Latin American and southern cuisines – the ingredients for a uniquely Florida-inspired dining experience. Outdoor patio seating is also available.
Is there a dress code?
Santiago’s is a casual dining outlet. While we want our guests to be comfortable, shirts and shoes/sandals are required on all guests. Tee shirts and shorts are allowed, and for women, bathing suits require a coverup. In your choice of dress, especially in the evening, we ask you consider that some guests are likely celebrating special occasions and have dressed a bit stylishly.
Does the hotel have a pool bar?
Yes, we do! The colorful Guy Harvey Surf Shack is popular with both guest and locals. Hours of operation are dependent on the weather and house occupancy. The front desk can always confirm the Surf Shack’s daily opening and closing times.
Are there restaurants withing walking distance of the hotel?
Yes, as a classic Old-Florida beach town there are many, from coffee shops and bakeries to casual and fine dining, mostly with convivial bars where locals meet and mingle. The majority of these are to the north of the hotel along AIA towards the iconic St. John Pier. South of the hotel is a neighborhood shopping center with a variety of fast food and sandwich outlets and a Publix supermarket with its popular deli offerings.
How convenient is the hotel to other dining and entertainment?
The hotel is approximately 5 miles from the historic city waterfront with its numerous dining and entertainment venues. On the drive into town on AIA (Anastasia Blvd), as you approach the Bridge of Lions you’ll find even more restaurants and bars that cater to visitors and beach locals, including our favorite for seafood and lively bar action, the Blackfly Restaurant.
What types of event spaces are available at the hotel?
The hotel is well suited for smaller weddings and group meetings, particularly for up to 160 persons. Many couples plan their wedding ceremony on the beach wedding or Fair Winds meeting room, with a rehearsal dinner in the Neptune Ballroom, and wedding reception in the ballroom or on the pool patio. Groups often plan meetings in our Fair Winds meeting room along with lunch or dinner in the adjacent ballroom, or an outside reception on the Patio Terrace. Whatever your intentions, the Sales and Catering Department is available to assist in your planning and help you execute.
Where is the parking for an event?
Event parking is located in the hotel’s general parking areas, located in front and along the north and south sides of the property.
Is there valet parking?
The hotel does not offer valet parking service. Should you be interested in having a valet parking vendor for your event, please discuss this with the Sales & Catering team.
Where do you arrive for an event?
All event guests are encouraged to enter through the hotel’s main front doors.
If I’m hosting an event at the hotel, do you allow outside catering?
Health department regulations, insurance requirements and service coordination make it necessary that all event “catering” is done by our Executive Chef and the hotel’s food and beverage department.
If I’m having a wedding, can I bring my own wedding cake?
Yes. This is the only exception to the restriction on outside event catering. Your cake must be prepared by a business with the appropriate health department license, which must be approved in advance by the Director of Catering.
Do I have to use your vendors?
The hotel has a preferred list of event vendors who are familiar with the hotel and have demonstrated their expertise in executing events. However, it is not necessary to use them specifically but outside vendors must present the Sales and Catering Team with their license and proof of insurance prior to performing any work at the hotel.
What is provided in the hotel’s quote for an event?
All facility rentals include menu assistance, event consultation, floor plan development, outdoor ceremony chairs, indoor banquet chairs, banquet tables, house black or white linens and napkins, facility set up and break down, Wi- Fi access, and parking. All special terms and conditions for your event will be included in the event contract.
